Beyond Belief is a sensational houseboat, the specious rooms meant that we didn’t feel confined; it was exactly like being on a floating house. We thoroughly enjoyed the excellent facilities provided; especially the gas heater, hot shower and wonderfully warm doonas. We wondered if spending a week on Lake Eildon, in the middle of winter, was going to be too cold, but we were all very warm and snug! We were impressed with the level of customer service provided. We were well supported by the owner who met us on the first day and gave us a thorough tutorial on all we needed to know. We experienced an unforeseen mechanical issue, however the owner was promptly on the scene, had the problem fixed and off we went again. Another special touch was the complimentary bottle of wine – which was very much enjoyed! The kitchen was amazing – had everything you could want. The big hot plate BBQ was big enough to cook for us all in one go. The TV doesn’t get reception, but there was an excellent selection of DVDs provided for our entertainment. Surprisingly the charges for fuel and gas were very economical and we were refunded the difference into our account on the first working day after completing our trip. We would recommend this company to anyone who is interested in a relaxing houseboat holiday with all the comforts of home! A common saying throughout the week: “Ahhh the serenity!”​
